The Planetry gears are a key cog in the electric bike machine (if you'll excuse the pun), so if yours are worn or damaged you may experience a seized motor, notching when pedalling or maybe the motor just doesnt perform as it once did. The componant sits within the motor hub, with tiny teeth driving the bike so as you can imagine, over time obvious dirt build up and general wear and tear is inevitable but sourcing such intricate parts can be a pain – FreeGo have you covered.
