Corratec E-Power X-Vert Pro Team HT electric Mountain Bike – Gloss Black
The E-Power X-Vert Pro Team is here! It's clear from the sleek design & uprated componentry that Corratec is'nt a brand to be played with.
The main design change with this thoroughbred hardtail eMTB is the 'split wheel' feature. A 650B rear wheel is married to a 29" front wheel, raising the front wheel essentially maximising movement around the bike & increasing agility to the rear of the bike. A feature seen on other eMTB series', this is a tried & tested re-write in the history books that seems to be taking the market by storm!
Corratec built, Bosch powered. Built around a sleek X-Vert Boost Alloy frame, the Pro Series cleverly integrates a whopping 625Wh Bosch battery which powers the Performance Line CX motor, the most powerful of the Bosch family! You can expect 85Nm of torque benieth your feet, boasting powerful propulsion & an extremely sporty riding style, and with switchable power assistance modes altered using the handlebar display, you can adapt with the wind.
Shimano MT420/MT200 hydraulic disc brakes provide the support you need from such a machine, while a 12s Deore SLX gearing system adds further support with those heavy climbs, if needed.
Clever technologies & attention to detail are what really set this bike apart;
Integrated Engine Technology
Keeping things not only neat aesthetically, but protected against the given elements faced when riding MTB.
Shadow Edge Tube 2.0
he all new Shadow Edge Tube 2.0 hides the Bosch Battery Pack completely inside the down tube and provides therefore a nice shape and look of the frame, nevertheless the battery can be removed out of the down tube. This intelligent and innovative lid-mechanism is developed by corratec and patent pending.
Tapered Headtube
The head tube is specially reinforced to accommodate force more efficiently.
Split Wheel
A corratec bike with Wheel Size Split performes a lot better in flowy trails which have a lot of turns. It is far easier to lay the bike over into the turns, there is more room to move around on the bike and the acceleration out of slow speed turns and situations is great. The smaller rear wheel is marginally more agile and precise on technical trails. On bigger jumps the 27.5 rear wheel gives a little more clearance and there is less risk of the mid air butt buzzing which is heavily unsettling. By the way a unique point of the wheel size split: The 27,5 bike also manuals a lot easier, picking the wheel up and holding it into a manual is easier than with a 29″ rear wheel.
Internal Cable Routing
Internal Cable Routing inside the frame for protection and a stylish design.
Through-Axle Hub
Through-axles have the advantage that they are larger in diameter than conventional 9 mm axles and thus are significantly stiffer.
Dropper Post
Dropper Seatpost with control lever on the handlebar or seatpost.
