Are Electric Bikes heavy?

Our electric bikes generally use a lithium battery which is the lightest ebike battery available. Yes they are heavier then normal bikes. But combined with alloy frames the overall weight is not significantly more then a normal bike. Most of our range use lithium batteries. There are a few budget models that use lead Acid batteries. These are heavier bikes and put the weight up by 30% compared to a normal bike.
