Haibike SDURO Cross 7.0 2018 Mens Electric Mountain Bike
A mountain bike built around smaller, 700C wheels, the Haibike SDURO Cross 7.0 2018 Mens Electric Mountain Bike is a light version of the SDURO Trekking 7.0. It is the same machine without panniers, mudguards and lights, meaning you can throw it about in the sticks with a lot less weight.
SDURO Cross 7.0 features
This electric mountain bike is built around the Bosch 250W crank motor and a 500Wh battery. It has Suntour NCX forks with 63mm of travel that will smooth out smaller bumps and potholes and have lockouts for different terrains – perhaps a harder setting for a climb and a softer setting for off-road sections. The light-but-powerful Maguro MT4 hydraulic brakes that are effective in most weather conditions yet require very little maintenance by comparison to Vee brakes.
The drivetrain is the Shimano SLX / XT 11 speed drivetrain with an 11-42t cassette. This enables you to do bigger climbs without relying as much on the battery, allowing for a bigger day in the saddle without recharging. On the other hand the smallest cog allows for a good high speed, though do be aware the motor is limited to 15.5mph so will cut out as you let loose on those hills!
Its Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres are fast rolling in the middle for hard surfaces yet have nobbles at the side for those light off-road stretches. This means it will be great on the roads for a daytime commute or for exploring country lanes.

Bosch CX and Intuvia eBike power system
The 250 Watt Bosch CX crank motor peaks at 75Nm, kicking like a mule when you need that extra boost. The 500Wh battery on the lowest power setting should give you around 50 miles of conservative riding as you need. The Bosch CX motor is complemented by the Intuvia control and power system that is smaller yet provides just a few parameters for a quick look as you enjoy your day in the saddle.
