1.0 vs 4.0 vs 8.0
As you can see in the numbers, the HardSeven range is graded according to its components from the 1.0 with high quality yet not-so-brilliant components as the 4.0 and 8.0. The 1.0 has Sunotur XCM forks, Shimano Altus gears and 180mm brake rotors on its hydraulic brakes. The 8.0 has significantly better kit on all three parts of the bike but you will pay a wedge more!
SDURO vs XDURO
In recent years Haibike have decided to make it easy for the rider to choose between its lines of electric bikes. The XDURO series is for people who take riding seriously and won’t want to be left out in the rankings. Meanwhile the SDURO series is for those who may still be fit as a fiddle but are more weekend mud warriors than people who eat, sleep and breathe riding.
What is the HardSeven 1.0 for?
This bike is is very good for cross country riding and non-competition trail riding. Light and fast, its geometry is suited more for the relaxed rider than those who want to do serious competition.

Built on the same frame, saddle and geometry as the other two HardSevens we stock, this electric mountain bike is built for fun trail riding and high quality cross country over medium distances.
The 9 speed, 11-36 tooth drive train is made around the Shimano Altus M2000 system, allowing you to tackle big hills with less of a sweat. A rapid-fire thumb-click trigger controls that on the left handlebar.
Lumps and bumps on the ride will be softened with the SR Suntour XCM DS, steel spring shocks. Slowing you down is with the Tektro M275 hydraulic disc brakes and decent sized, 180mm rotors.
With a good balance between rolling resistance and yet good grip on the slippery stuff, 27.5” XLC MountainX tyres are just the business for your blast in the sticks.
The SDURO HardSeven 1.0 comes with a 400 watt hour battery that will give you a good 40 miles on mixed riding too.
