Haibike SDURO Trekking 7.5 2018 Ladies Electric Trekking Bike
For the leisure rider the 7.5 Trekking can take a bit rougher routes than the 7.0 with its fatter 27.5” hybrid tyres. This bike is still for the commuter, and with its stiffer front forks is a good bet for someone doing trips with a heavier load.
Men’s vs Ladies
The Ladies version of the Haibike SDURO Trekking 7.5 2018 Electric Trekking Bike has a lower crossbar near the saddle and has a more upright riding position than the men’s version.
7.5 vs 7.0
The SDURO Trekking 7.5 has fatter tyres than the 7.0, meaning you can choose rougher bridleways and tracks on your journey. You can do lighter MTB trails but can also venture off road on longer routes without too much of a worry.
The 7.5 also has stiffer front suspension meaning that you can carry a bigger load wherever you roam.
Features
The Haibike SDURO Trekking 7.5 2018 Ladies Electric Trekking Bike has 27.5” wheels that are very good for slightly less forgiving terrain, and with the fatter tyres will roll over many a lump and bump with maximum comfort.
The electric bike comes a Shimano 11-42 tooth gearing system and Shimano SLX rapid fire shifters for accurate and fast gear changes and a high ratio allowing you to ride bigger hills with less power assistance.
For speed control you have Shimano hydraulic disc brakes that are connected to a motor cutout for instant and sharp braking as you need.
The Trekking series bikes come with rear pannier, front and rear lights as standard. The lights are wired into the main battery so as long as you have juice to get home you can see and be seen.
Bosch Performance
The Bosch Performance CX crank drive system adds up to 75Nm of torque, which means a very fast takeoff at the lights and near instant response from the motor when you put the wattage into the pedal.
Through the Intuvia screen you can choose from one of four power settings that go from the battery thirsty Turbo mode to the aptly named Eco mode for conserving your power on longer runs. It can also display a range of other parameters such as average speed and distance.
All of this is powered with a 500 Watt hour Bosch battery that has been shown in real world cycling to give you up to 60-80 miles of power assisted riding.
