The Selle Royal Milo + saddle and 63mm travel  Suntour Nex suspension fork put comfort first for those longer hours in the saddle, making the Motus Tour ideal for longer rides, as well as shorter ones where you don’t want to be a ball of sweat at the end! A Bosch Active Line motor combined with the 400 Watt hour battery will help you do the distance too, with a range of up to 110 miles in Eco Mode. The Active Line motor produces a smooth torque curve so you can pull away naturally without feeling as if you have a line of demented huskies in front! These are controlled with the intuitive Intuvia controller and display.

Electric bikes are about ‘pedal assist’ so the quality of the pedal drivetrain is very important too. An Acera 9 speed gear set will enable you to handle most hills you need to tackle even in a low power setting. Stopping power is ample with the Shimano M200 hydraulic disc brakes, which will help you control your speed even in the worst of British weather. 

All of these are on a machine designed for the road with full mudguards, a pannier rack that will carry a decent load and front and rear lights that are plumbed into the main battery so you can see where you’re going as long as there is power in the system.
