Oxygen S-CROSS CB Hybrid Electric Bike
Built for light off-road use but mainly for trekking and commuting, the Oxygen S-Cross Cross Bar (CB) electric bike is a nice hybrid all rounder.
Features
With the option of at 10.4 amp hour or 13ah battery, range shouldn’t be an issue. The smaller battery will help you over 25-30 miles a day comfortably, while 45-50 miles of economical riding is possible with the bigger option.
Simple to control, the centrally mounted backlit LCD display with 6 power assist levels and the further option of 3 power modes which has a ton of information including your speed, ODO, time, battery indicator and the level of assist. Additionally the system allows you to charge your phone or mobile device on the move with a USB output on the battery.
The 21 speed Shimano drivetrain (3 rings up front, 7 on the cassette) will allow you to put as much effort into your ride as you want, whether conserving the battery or planning to do the ride without a hint of perspiration! For speed control the Oxygen S-Cross CB has Tektro Novela disc brakes – these are far lower maintenance than Vee brakes and are the brake of choice for all weather riding. The nobbly 700C wheels will handle a canal or railway path with comfort, and the Suntour SR NEX suspension forks will iron out the bumps (and the odd pothole) with ease.
Built for someone who doesn’t want muddy stripes up their back and who may want to carry a reasonable load without getting a sweaty back, the electric bike comes with mudguards and a rear pannier rack as standard.
