New for 2018, the new generation BOSCH Active Line system sees smoother acceleration whilst shifting gear to create the perfect combination of mechanical and electrical pedelec technology, up to an amazing 90 mile range from Eco mode, and a super low profile and exceptionally quiet middle motor. This is powered with a 300Wh battery that will give you all the range you need for a typical day’s urban riding
This runs through a seven speed Shimano Altus drivetrain with a 12-32t cassette. The nice range of ratios will allow you to put in as much or as little effort as you want even on those bigger hills around town, and won’t have you rely too much on the motor if economical riding is your thing.
Stopping and speed control on the grey Raleigh Motus Step Through Derailleur 700c Electric Bike is with Shimano M200 hydraulic disc brakes that are very effective in all weathers and require minimal maintenance even with regular riding. For riding with lots of starting and stopping or regular, longer descents you will find that brake fade won’t be a problem where it might have been with Vee brakes heating up your rims.
Riding comfort is assured with the Selle Royal Milo+ saddle and the Suntour NEX, 63mm travel forks up at the front, which with the saddle will mean great comfort on your arms and rear end even on canal or railway paths. The 700C wheels are built around riding about town and will help smooth out the terrain you face every day.
