This Haibike SDURO HardNine 7.0 2018 Electric Mountain Bike is a ‘29er’ hardtail mountain bike that is brilliant for off-road yet will do very well on paved sections – perhaps as you go cross country up lanes and across fields in a typical British rural area.

29er mountain bikes were built for offload adventure, though more for cross country than trails with tight turns and jumps – the 26” and 27.5” wheeled bikes are better for those. You will have a higher average speed over the miles than you would on a 27.5” wheeled bike and can ride more economically over longer distances than you would on the smaller machine.
The 11 speed drivetrain is on Sram NX gears and a 11-42t cassette that has a great range of ratios from top speed on the flat or downhill to being able to tackle even the tougher climb on the big ring.
Suntour Raidon 100mm forks with a remote lockout can be adjusted for your weight and trimmed according to whether you are climbing or on a rougher surface.
Hydraulic disc brakes were designed with mountain bikes in mind, and the Maguro MT4 brakes fitted to the SDURO HardNine 7.0 2018 will not disappoint in terms of speed control in all conditions. They are also very low maintenance too.
Its 29” wheels have 2.6” Schwalbe Nobby Nic Evo tyres that will grip the substrate yet roll well on the road as well.

Bosch CX and Purion eBike power system
The 250 Watt Bosch CX crank motor peaks at 75Nm, kicking like a mule when you need that extra boost. The 500Wh battery on the lowest power setting should give you around 100 miles of mixed riding as you need. The Bosch CX motor is complemented by the Purion control and power system that is smaller yet provides just a few parameters for a quick look as you enjoy your day in the saddle.
