Haibike SDURO HardLife 3.0 2018 Ladies Electric Mountain Bike
The intermediate women’s hardtail all rounder electric mountain bike, the Haibike SDURO HardLife 3.0 2018 Ladies Electric Mountain Bike will suit anyone who wants to get off road and explore the countryside or trails without getting too high a spec bike that excludes you from one or another off road discipline. The e-MTB is happy on road too, perhaps for those country lanes between the off road stretches on a good ride out in the sticks.

The SDURO HardLife 3.0 is identical to the SDURO HardLife 2.0 only with a 500 Watt hour battery, adding 20-30 miles of range for just a small extra investment.
What this means is that you have an 11 speed gear setup that goes between a fast 11 tooth to a big climbing 42t ratio, allowing you to do big climbs with minimal use of that big battery. The same Sram NX 11 Speed Trigger will give super fast gear changes just when you need it.
The air adjustable Suntour XCR suspension fork can be tuned according to your needs in advance of the ride thanks to its oil / air system.
The big, 180mm brake rotors have Tekrro M286 hydraulic brakes attached, that will serve you well as you control your speed – without fading even after you have let loose on a particularly quick descent.
As with the HardLife 2.0, the HardLife 3.0 ladies e-MTB has 27.5” wheels with Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres that can handle slippery stretches well but not slow you down on hard surfaces.
Even with the beefier battery, this bike weighs just 100 grammes more than its little sister. Given you get an extra 20-30 miles that’s not much of a price too pay is it?
Yamaha PW electric motor
This 250 Watt crank motor can give up to 280% of the power you put into the pedals, and with up to 70Nm of torque you can race off from a standing start with just a quick kick to the pedal. There are four modes of assistance ranging from Eco+ to High mode that you can use according to your needs.
The energy comes from the 500 Watt hour frame mounted battery that will realistically give you 80 or so miles on a typical ride. The Yamaha LCD display has a range of parameters that include a battery meter and projected range at the current setting.
