The 250 watt E Motion motor delivers its power through the crank – crank motors are very good for tackling hills without the rider putting more effort into the climb than they need. The motor has a lot of torque, allowing for a strong push when you need to get going in a hurry – perhaps for safety reasons in traffic for example. The software built into the Emotion system ensures that the Array has a smooth and progressive acceleration to ensure you have a comfortable, controlled journey
The motor is powered by an 8.2 amp hour battery that will give you up to 60 miles of range should you take it easy on the power assistance. If you really rely on the motor on a hilly route then this could be around 40 miles – still ample for a day’s riding around town or for a regular commute to work.
Shimano's 7 speed gears and easy to use twist shift allow you to find the right gear, while the CST Zeppelin high volume tyres with puncture protection and reflective stripe make your ride more comfortable and safer. Altogether this makes for a very good looking electric bike that acts as beautifully as it looks on the road!
