Lapierre Overvolt TR 5.6 Full Sus Electric Mountain Bike 2021 – Sea Blue
Build for maximum fun on the Trails. The TR Trail series utilises a full suspension frameset and refined componentry to perfectly suit purpose. Formed around a Lapierre OST+ Supreme 5 Alloy frame enclosing a Lapierre Trunnion damper, the TR is designed with a purpose specific geometry, adopting a shorter handlebar reach to make ease of climbing and manipulating the bike, in turn increasing the chainstay length to maximise traction and maintain a headstrong centre of gravity, also helping to keep that front wheel down when it comes to climbing! Up front on the 5.6 we have a RockShox Recon RL Solo Air suspension fork with 130mm of travel – a necessity when it comes to delving in to the unknown and enduring a long day in the saddle!
Maintaining that well balanced centre of gravity from the crank drive motor, although differing from the rest of the range, the TR 5.6 uses a Bosch Performance CX Gen 4 motor that kicks out an aggressive 85Nm torque, tearing up the dirt with a heavy foot, but reserving the juice when you don't need it. Range axiety is banished thanks to the geneous 625Wh Bosch PowerTube battery, married with a Purion display to alter between power assistance modes.
Using a SRAM SX 12 speed gearing system to further tailor your ride and adapt to your surroundings, with responsive Shimano M4100 hydraulic disc brakes providing optimal agility and bike control while you're carving those berms and darting between the pine trees, and with the Lapierre hydraulic Dropper post, you can adapt your riding position in seconds to best cope with change in condition.
Rolling on a 27.5" eAM+ wheelset wrapped in beefy Maxxis Rekon TLE tyres – behind the bars of the Overvolt TR 5.6 is a very nice place to be.
