Designed and built with British roads and climate in mind, the Cube Nature One Hybrid has a full set of mudguards and Busch & Müller lights plumbed into the main battery.
A step up from previous editions the hybrid e-bike has an in-tube battery and slim crank motor housing that may leave the people you pass discussing whether you are actually riding an e-bike! Equally with the weight right where it’s needed this improves bike handling as you weave past the traffic on your daily runs.
You’ve the choice of a 400Wh battery or a 500Wh battery for extended range – both will give you a distance of 40 miles comfortably. Thanks to the design there’s no need to remove it for charging either – simply plug the bike in at home or in its storage.
A 9-speed Shimano RD-M4000-SGS drivetrain will help you handle the climbs with economical battery use, while Shimano BR-MT200, hydraulic disc brakes on a 180mm front rotor and a 160mm rotor are lightweight yet effective in all conditions.
All of this is supported with the quiet yet powerful Bosch Active Line Plus 250 watt motor that is designed for road riding. Quiet yet with 50 Newton-metres of torque, you’ll pull away quickly and in almost silence as you go into the urban jungle. When you top the speed-limited 25km/h you won’t find much resistance as you move along under your own power.

There's some clever technology lurking in the smooth, clean lines of the Nature Hybrid. Our engineering team worked overtime to position the Bosch battery and drive system optimally for both the men's and the trapeze frame designs. Using complex hydroforming and gravity casting, they created a frame that combines our Efficient Comfort Geometry with a low centre of gravity for handling that's completely intuitive – lively when you need it, stable the rest of the time. A light, stiff structure translates into a bike that's as easy to pedal as it is to steer. Internal cable routing complements the svelte appearance, and the added bonus is that gear cables tucked out of harm's way in the frame reduce maintenance and help to keep your gear shifts clean and smooth for longer.
