New Yamaha PW-X motor
2017 was the first year the Yamaha PW-X motor was released on mountain bikes. Though limited to 15.5mp/h it delivers a whopping 80Nm of torque meaning that when you kick the pedal it kicks like a mule. If you are new to electric mountain biking, don’t be afraid either as it can be forgiving for those who don’t drive so hard and fast. The powerful 250W motor comes with a 400Wh Lithium ion battery which will allow for a Yamaha claimed 125 mile range on Eco mode (though in reality count on a careful 75-85 miles).

Shimano Deore gearing makes for fast, accurate gear changes and for stopping you have the Magura aluminium hydraulic disc brakes to control that speed!
