A major improvement on the 2017 model, the new generation BOSCH Active Line system sees smoother acceleration whilst shifting gear to create the perfect combination of mechanical and electrical pedelec technology, up to an amazing 90 mile range from Eco mode, and a super low profile and exceptionally quiet middle motor. The power system is complete with the Bosch frame mounted 300Wh battery that will suit most medium duty uses – a regular ride to work or dashing about town every day on business is certainly within this bike’s power system’s ability.
The Motus Grey Cross Bar Derailleur 700c Electric Bike motor runs through a 7 speed Shimano Altus 12-32t cassette, allowing for economical riding should that be your aim, or to let the motor get you up even more challenging hills as you need.
Stopping power comes through Shimano M200 hydraulic disc brakes. Hydraulic disc brakes are taking over the cycling world because of their reliability in wet or dry conditions, the lack of brake fade from regular use (such as bigger descents) and their low maintenance demands. Once you have tried disc brakes you’ll never look back!
For comfort the Selle Royal Milo+ saddle and the Suntour NEX 63mm travel forks will take out the worst of the bumps on the road, and can be ridden comfortably on canal or railway paths as well.
