Raleigh Array Step Through Emotion Hub Gear Electric Bike Navy Blue
Built to look great yet be extremely low maintenance the Raleigh Array Step Through Emotion Hub Gear navy blue electric bike is designed for someone who wants to get about town but really doesn't want to have to worry about regular maintenance.
Features
This Raleigh electric bike is powered by the E Motion electric hub motor that delivers as much power as you need when you need it. The Array’s power control system has software that ensures a smooth and progressive acceleration for safe yet quick starts, perhaps at a busy junction or roundabout.
The pannier mounted battery has 300 Watt hours of ‘juice’, that can allow up to 70 miles per charge if you don’t ask too much of the motor all the time.
Moving on to the bike itself, the Raleigh Array Step Through Emotion Hub Gear navy blue e-bike has two great mechanisms that allow you to ride without worrying too much about keeping it on the road through lots of maintenance. Unlike the other Array model, it has a seven speed hub gear that allows you to ride up even the toughest of hills with relative ease yet because the chain doesn’t have to move between rear cogs every time requires far less maintenance than cassette-gear systems.
Another important mechanism on the Array Hub Gear electric bike are the ‘roller brakes’. Unlike Vee brakes or disc brakes, this relatively new design of brake is very effective at stopping in wet or dry, but is mounted inside the hub of your wheel. This also means extremely low yet easy maintenance and at a far lower frequency than other brake systems.
Coming with mudguards, rear pannier and lights as standard, this is a very good looking, practical electric bike for dashing about town.
