The ladies’ equivalent to the Men’s HardSeven machine, the Haibike SDURO HardLife 6.0 2018 Ladies Electric Mountain Bike is a great all rounder with significant upgrades on the HardLife 4.0 machine. Lightweight, fast and fun, this bike has been built around a woman’s eMTB riding needs.
HardLife vs HardSeven
The HardSeven and HardLife electric mountain bikes share many of the same mechanisms and kit, but the HardLIfe has been built around a woman’s needs – it has a lower crossbar and the geometry is set so there is a slightly more upright riding position.
HardLife 6.0 Features
This bike has a Bosch in-tube 500Wh battery that puts the weight in a better position for riding. There are other upgrades on the HardLife 4.0 we also stock:
– Suntour Raidon 27.5+ specific forks that have a remote lockout system from the handlebars. These have 120mm travel that can be preset for climbs and descents.
– Maguro MT4 hydraulic disc brakes for improved speed control. These also have adjustable two finger levers that can be set closer to the handlebars if you have shorter fingers without changing the responsiveness of the brakes.
– 2.8” Schwalbe Hobby Nic tyres that can be run at a lower pressure for extra grip
Overall this is a great all rounder electric mountain bike for weekend riders who might want to take on a variety of runs, be it XC, downhill or single track. The Haibike SDURO HardLife 6.0 2018 Ladies Electric Mountain Bike can be ridden comfortably on roads too – while well equipped it won’t shirk the hard stuff, perhaps on a run out in the countryside that includes roads, farm tracks and blasting across the fields.
Bosch CX and Purion eBike power system
The 250 Watt Bosch CX crank motor peaks at 75Nm, kicking like a mule when you need that extra boost. The 500Wh battery on the lowest power setting should give you around 60-80 miles of conservative riding as you need. The Bosch CX motor is complemented by the Purion control and power system that is smaller yet provides just a few parameters for a quick look as you enjoy your day in the saddle
