We've taken our popular carbon-framed Bosch e-bike and given it a makeover for 2019, equipping it with a blend of reliable components that will help any rider extract the best from it, wherever the trail takes you. The concealed battery, internal cable routing – including routing for a dropper post upgrade – and stealth appearance are just part of the story. Shimano's 11 speed XT gears, combined with the powerful Bosch CX drive unit, give you the range you need to tackle any gradient, while hydraulic disc brakes – with a 4 piston caliper at the front – are there to help keep your speed under control on the way back down. Grippy Schwalbe Nobby Nic tyres and Newmen cockpit components ensure you're always in control, and a RockShox Judy Gold air fork smooths out the trail ahead. Carbon e-mountain biking has never looked so attractive.
Bosch's PowerTube battery gave our design team a great opportunity: by using their experience in carbon frame construction, they were able to incorporate it into a seamless down tube that fully encloses the power source under an easily removable, sealed cover. The result is a great-looking chassis and a very rigid backbone for super-precise handling out on the trail. There's even room for up to two water bottle mounts, and there's no need to remove the battery for charging. Our Advanced Twin Mold manufacturing is used throughout to give the optimum blend of strength, weight and stiffness. Combined with Agile Ride Geometry, the 12mm Boost thru-axle and a tapered head tube, you're assured of responsive and confidence-inspiring trail manners. Internal cable routing ensures that gear shifts remain clean and precise, and we even including routing for a quick and easy dropper post upgrade.
