eLiFE Royale 20" Electric Folding Bike, Manufacturer Refurbished
The eLiFE Royale electric power is brought to the user via the pedal assist feature. As soon as you start pedalling the motor is triggered and the assistance takes the rider up to 15.5 mph. As soon as you stop pedalling or apply either brake the motor drops away. There are three levels of power assistance the user can select via the LED display which is easily accessed on the handlebar.
The range that can be expected from the Royale’s 7Ah battery (dependant on riding style and payload) would be approximately 20-30 miles on a fully charged unit. The battery can be charged either on or off the bike. Additionally there is a Shimano 6 speed rear gear cluster to help you along when needed.
Along with the power settings on the display unit there is also a ‘walk assist’ function which gives the rider a starting burst of power when enabled of 4mph helping the rider upon start up.
The Royale is built upon a 13” fully folding Hi Ten Steel frame which, when packed down reduces the size by half making it very versatile when transporting either in a car or caravan!
Component wise the Royale has ebike rated 20” CST puncture resistant tyres, adjustable quick release seatpost, full mudguards and alloy V Brakes. A side stand is fitted along with a luggage rack with bungee straps. The bike will be delivered 100% fully assembled. You just need to unfold the frame and handlebar.
