There’s no escaping the spring in the step of Matt Flanagan.

The managing director of of E-Bikes Direct says he can detect no signs of a slow down in the sales that turned 2015 into a record year.

Not only is his company selling more e-bikes directly, it is also enjoying a sales surge thanks to a tie up with Halfords through it’s online platform.

Matt said:”2015 was a great year for us and I am confident that 2016 is going to be even better as the word spreads about the benefits of e-biking. Even serious, traditional cyclists love our range and for the beginner of intermediary they are just perfect.

“You can go out for a long ride safe in the knowledge that if you reach a “hill too far” you can tap into our brilliant little batteries to make sure you get to the top.”

Matt first realised the potential of e-bikes on a business trip to Bejing (he was in a different business at the time) and saw for himself how many Chinese people were using them. From that moment he realised the UK would be a perfect market and today he is about to see that dream come true.
