I bought this bike for the daily commute (10 miles total) and I'm completely chuffed with it. I didn't really believe the manufacturer's hype so I deliberately bought a machine in the budget range, but I'm astonished at just what great value for money this bike is. The battery has easily coped with my total daily commute of about 10 miles, plus some lunchtime errands of about 5 miles. (Admittedly with some pedalling from me now and again, but also with about 20 people at work having turns around the car park!) Based on a recharge last weekend I calculated the recharge cost at 7.2 pence. I reckon I'll keep using it until the weather turns nasty in October, so battery recharge costs for the next 6 months would be £13! Being legally entitled to use cycle paths and most bus lanes, I just zoomed past the queuing traffic and arrived at work 20 minutes faster than I would by car. On the way home I decided cut through the woods for a change of scenery and still got home sooner than I normally would. I strongly recommend this bike to anyone thinking of a cheap and green alternative to their car or bus.

Can't believe how cheap this bike is - It is great for my daily commute (about 3 miles); have been using it for over a week now and am thoroughly impressed!

This is a lovely bike. Would definately recommend it to anyone who is thinking of buying one. It is a pleasure to ride, extremely comfortable. Really good price and service on this site also helps :-)
