I stumbled across ebikesdirect online. I am glad I did. They has a huge range of bikes to choose from and there prices were right on the money. After extensive research I narrowed my selection of bikes done to a short list. I contacted ebikesdirect for their opinions on a wide range of issues. I explained my budget, my intended use, my size etc. In return I got honest opinions, full explanations and best of all immediate responses to all my queries. Matt who was dealing with my inquires was more than helpful and was professional in everyway. I can’t recommend the company enough, its nice to business with professionals who are more than helpful. It was a big deal to purchase the right bike, over the past few years I had put on too much weight. I live in Ireland and got delivery to my door in 3 days.
I am now into my second week with my new bike. I love it. I purchased a freego hawk, very well built, great power, great battery distance, great extras and looks great. I am now cycling to work everyday (18 miles return) and enjoying it. I tried regular bikes and after a few attempts got disheartened and quit. Most of all I look forward to exercising.
Hope this helps anyone who is in two minds about choosing a professional bike company, it was a sizeable investment for me and I am happy with the outcome.

Thank you very much for your advise on helping me choose the right electric bike. Just the tool I needed for my fishing trips. Very happy with the build quality and performance. I definitely made the right choice. Thanks again

Hi all
Just to let you know now both me and my husband have electric bikes we are cycling everywhere, uphill and down dale!!! The bikes are brilliant and when you live in a place as hilly as us they have got us out and about like never before.

Today we cycled the Ystwyth Trail near Aberystwyth and it was a bit embarrassing riding with our friends who were riding (non battery) cycles and we had to remember not to show off by attempting to look a little tired riding up the hilly bits!!!

Thanks a lot we are having fun cycling again.

I travelled to various electric bike suppliers in Sussex and tried various different electric bikes on the hills. I settled on the freego hawk in the end as this was the most powerful within my budget. I am delighted with the purchase and it certainly does the job where I live in Brighton. The biggest problem I have is the amount of people stopping me when I am riding around to ask where I brought the bike from! I hope I will be getting commission on any electric bike sale you get from me!

Absolutely Brilliant, wanted an electric bike to keep up with the kids and there dad and this did not dissapoint, I went for a step through version of the Freego Hawk and now they can't keep up with me, lovely and smooth to ride and quieter than I thought it would be, a must for all mum's out there

Freego Hawk

I had been looking for an electric bike for quite a while and could not decide on which to buy, the guys at e-bikes direct were exemplary in their help with this, I visited their place in Bodiam and was shown different models that would suit my requirements, I needed to do around 45 miles and the area round here is quite hilly, the guys recommended the Freego Hawk which is highly powerful on the hills and the 17ah version will do approximately 60-65 miles on pedal assist so more than meets what i need to do, the spec on the hawk is just the job too and really good value for the money. 5* all round
