The absolute Boll**ks
Will pay for itself in 6 months, I rack up at least 12 miles a day on it on hills and in traffic. Its bloody briliant. I reckon I have sold a load of these judging by how many have stopped me and asked me about it. Would be nice if they made the frame out of a lighter material.

Batribike Dash
I bought mine about ten days ago and have already clocked up over 120 miles. I use it to cycle to the station (about three very hilly miles), fold and then take on the train to London and cycle anything from 1 to 3 miles the other end. Its fast and performs excellently. The only downside is the bloody weight of the thing. I'm 48 and have to cart it up three flights of stairs at Stoke Newington, but it is like my portable gym. Only downside is trying to lift it by its carry handle when its wet, not easy to grip. Other than that, it is definitely the best bike I have ever bought, my daughter sits on the back rack on a cushion and hangs on to me and she absolutely loves it. So do I. Great investment, I use it every day and it is an absolute peach to ride. Its the only one I have seen that lets you ride on throttle only, just in case you are tired or a bit hungover hahaha

Excellent electric bike
i did a lot of research into electric bikes before eventually deciding on the Batribike Dash. I needed a foldable bike for commuting to the train station and to occasionally take on the train. In fact, I had originally decided on the Batribike Dash Pro which is a slightly newer model than this one. I had test ridden it at the local store and was just checking online prices when I came across this earlier model being sold at a significant discount. The main differences are an upgraded LCD display and a better brand of battery. These didn't seem worth the difference so I gambled on this earlier model to save £280. I do not regret it at all. The bike rides just as well as the Pro model and the LCD display doesn't leave me wanting more (and that's important, coming from a gadget freak).
One thing I like about this model is that in Auto mode, the thumb throttle works from a standing start to move off. If I remember correctly, you have to start pedalling with the Pro before the thumb throttle will work.
The electrical assistance from the bike is superb. I'm in my 50's now and hadn't ridden a bike for more than 20 years. My legs tend to get stiff and my stamina is poor. With this bike I can put in just as much work as I feel able and the battery does the rest. I'm pushing myself a little harder each day and already starting to feel the benefit. I know I would not have coped as well with a regular bike.
If there's any downside, it's that at 23kg the bike is a bit on the heavy side, almost the weight of a 25kg/55lb sack of spuds, but that is pretty normal for a foldable electric bike in this price range.
Overall, I'm delighted with this bike and I'm now trying to persuade my wife to get one so we can go on leisure rides together.

Cut A Dash!
It took me a while to choose from the many folding bikes but the Dash seemed good value. It arrived very well packed but no info on how to unfold it! I had looked at a Youtube clip so that helped. The battery charged quickly and I went out for my first ride. I had not secured the seat properly and it turned with me! I was not used to the throttle and nearly went into a car but the brakes are excellent. I went up a hill with no bother, passing a poor puffing runner! Dogs do NOT like it and owners have to hold their dogs firmly. I had coccyx pain at first but after a few adjustments I think I've got it right and am really pleased with it. I know if I have any questions the staff at Ebikes Direct will be happy to help.

Just what I needed
This is perfect for my daily commute to work. It should pay for itself in about 3 months, so it is a worthwhile investment.
It came fully assembled and ready to go, and hasn't let me down so far. I haven't tried any other electric bikes, so I can't compare it to anything else, but I am satisfied with this bike so far.
